My birthday is this weekend; of course, as luck would have it, everyone and their mother (including mine) will be out of town this weekend, and for most of the month! Happy birthday to me, eh?

I guess I'll count the $300 increase to our escrow and the $50 raise to our utilities bill (we haven't even turned on the HEAT yet, and it's freezing!) as birthday presents. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get a job and call THAT a present. :(
